Accredited practising coaches

We are practising coaches

Our coaches are currently coaching executives who are working at the most senior levels, internationally and nationally, and across sectors that include governments, pharmaceuticals, fintech, financial services and consumer brands. Our executive coaching is offered firmly within your context. From our former professional roles as business leaders, we bring hands-on experience of the real challenges being faced in the contemporary world, at the boardroom table and across multi-stakeholder environments.

Our executive coaches are trained by CTI (Coaches Training Institute). They have 15 years’ experience of coaching individuals at a senior level in organisations across the world and are members of the ICF (International Coaching Federation), which means they follow its International Code of Ethics.

What is executive coaching?

Executive coaching is one of the richest forms of leadership development. In a coaching relationship, the coach and coachee whole a series of powerful conversations, designed to enable the individual to fulfil their professional and personal potential. The coach holds the coachee as creative, resourceful and whole, they consider the coachee to already be holding all that they need and the ability to find the answers they seek.

In their role, the coach uses their coaching tools, skills, training and experience to observe, reflect, interject, question, provoke, challenge and stretch the coachee in order that they can discover, explore and gain new intelligence that empowers them to make some different, conscious and more powerful choices.

Executive coaching powered by nature

The Natural Path

The Natural Path executive programme is where coaching takes place in nature. Away from the office, free of meetings and with the wind in your hair this can be one of the most inspiring and transformative programmes. Whether it is walking in woods, open water swimming in the lake or striding across the local countryside, there is a real sense of freedom and flow in thoughts and words and a connection with possibility that is brought about by the combination of physical movement, fresh air and natural surroundings.

What are the benefits of executive coaching?

It’s no accident that senior executives are used to having a coaching relationship. The benefits are plentiful. One of the main benefits is that an executive coaching relationship brings into awareness the habits, thought patterns and behaviour patterns that the leader may have adopted over years of living and leading, without realising. Once they understand what may be holding them back, they find themselves at a place of conscious choice about what they seek to do and how they wish to be.

From this deepest understanding of self, they often gain a new perspective. An acceptance of the degree of choice, freedom and creativity that is available to them. A common benefit of a coaching relationship is a more powerful leader. One who is proficient at becoming ‘unstuck’ and one who is able to put into practice the leadership values and behaviours that they choose, every day and in every aspect of their leadership role.

The coachee becomes authentic, consistent, at choice and able to work with sustainable ease, a stronger level of resilience and a real sense of positivity and tenacity in achieving their leadership purpose.

Am I suitable for executive coaching?

Yes. Everyone can benefit from executive coaching. Leaders who come to executive coaching range from being relatively new leaders who have recently acquired the ‘badge’ of leadership, to those more experienced in leadership with wide-ranging responsibilities across multiple departments or audiences.

Coaching supports the realising of potential and wellbeing of the leader. It aligns what they do with how they want to be. This is when they become congruent and aligned as leaders. This is about the practice of personal leadership. If you are a human being, working with others, you can benefit from executive coaching.

How do I choose an executive coach?

There are three key criteria to consider when choosing an executive coach. A ‘coach’ is not necessarily an ‘executive coach’ and, with the coaching industry growing in popularity, it is important to be able to identify and distinguish between the two. Here are three things to consider when you are choosing a coach.

Credentials, training and experience

Choose an executive coach who has trained with an organisation approved by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). They will follow the ICF code of ethics and be a subscribing member.

Business or sector experience

Selecting a coach who has senior hands-on experience in the business or sector that you are working in can help to provide real context around the coaching. For example, when the coach has some experience of working in the public, private or not-for-profit organisations, the coaching conversation can often be more effective.

Chemistry and coaching style

Accredited executive coaches put the client first and will actively support them in trying to find a coach that is the best fit for them. A chemistry session between two or three coaches is part of the coaching process and allows the coach to see who they feel most comfortable with. There is no point is choosing a coach whose style does not suit yours.

What our clients are saying

A. Herron Global Head of ESG Strategic Partnerships

“You had empathy in abundance, are progress oriented and naturally extremely personable. The techniques you used are innovative and practical. What I appreciate most if your capacity to connect deeply and with lightness and I thoroughly recommend working with you”

C. Holland Head of Customer Contact, Avios

“My coach and I worked together for over a year and I found the overall experience incredibly rewarding. From the offset, she was interested and engaging and this helped set our relationship off on the right foot; as someone who’s not naturally used to talking about myself, she created a safe and constructive environment which allowed me to reflect and challenge myself knowing there was always support there.

At the end of our work together I was able to recognise myself more clearly & objectively, understand my ways of working and even tangibly define by belief system (most of these I wasn’t cognisant of previously). I would have no hesitation in recommending a coaching programme to anyone else looking to develop themselves either personally or professionally.”

M. Owen Regional Manager, Europe

“A very relaxed environment is created to understand what drives and limits you personal effectiveness. I feel very privileged to have had this experience.”
